To execute this work requires unmatched skill., which is what characterizes the team of craftspeople we’ve assembled at NK Woodworking. We have employees who have moved to Seattle specifically to work for us because of what we do. Many have run their own woodworking and contracting businesses but choose to work for us instead—all because they’re excited by the challenge and joy of creating extraordinary art. Few others can do what we do.

Master Woodworker
NK Woodworking & Design is seeking Master Woodworkers to join our team in our Seattle, WA workshop. You will have worked for a minimum of 5 years, preferably many more, in a wood shop specializing in fine furniture, cabinetry, custom stairs or wooden boat building. You must have experience with both curved and compounding curved work, a thorough understanding of wood properties and movement, and expert technical and operational knowledge of all woodworking equipment. Bottom line, you have the ability to independently create works of art from conceptual or technical drawings. These are all once-in-a-lifetime unique projects, challenging and fun for true Master Craftsmen.
Bonus skills are welding, CAD, carving, marquetry, finishing, lighting/electrical, and management.
